Following a year travelling and working overseas she returned to Perth in 2000 and formed her first original band 'Macgyverstyle'. During 2001 Michele wrote and recorded her first 8 track demo with producer Alfredo Malabello. She then entered the studio again in 2002 to record a further five tracks with producer John Villani.
2003 saw the completion of "Naked to Make It" a single produced by Anthony Cormican and distributed through MGM and Naked Records Australia-wide. To accompany the track Michele directed her own video clip, which was aired on Rage and Video Hits and won a Silver medal at the SA film awards.
Michele moved to Sydney in 2004 and while performing regularly on the music circuit, started production of her first short film.
By 2008 Michele had completed filming and post-production of short film 'What If?' which screened throughout Australia, showcasing at 'A Night of Horror' film festival, That same year Michele also completed a 5 track EP 'Little Wonder' with Lee Bradshaw at BMR Studios in Perth.
With a strong dedication to animal protection and welfare Michele put her film and music behind a good cause, organizing film, fashion and music for the Free the Bears Fund and the Dogs Refuge Home.
In 2013 Michele worked on her first major album, a huge production consisting of 17 piece big band orchestrals and jazz influenced vocals, a new style for Michele but one which allowrf her to showcase vocally the two styles she loves; Jazz & Rock. Recorded at Armstong Studios Melbourne, Produced by Lee Bradshaw, Engineered by Doug Brady and Mixed/Mastered by Martin Pullan.
